Beeper Ball

Our Beeper Ball Game offers visually impaired individuals an opportunity to enjoy the game of baseball. Specialized beeping baseballs and beeping bases are used in order for the players to identify where the ball and bases are located.

The game is 1hr in duration and each half of an inning consists of either 3 outs or each team member batting once.

Outs are recorded by a fielder gaining possession of a hit ball before the batter reaches the beeping base. Runs are scored by the batter touching the beeping base before a fielder can gain possession of the hit beeping ball. Similar to our traditional Miracle League Game, players are assisted with volunteer buddies that help players remain safe during the game

Our opponents are community teams consisting of a minimum of 5 players with an unlimited maximum roster. Players will be partnered together and alternate innings wearing a blindfold. Success will depend on locating the beeping ball, beeping bases and your partners verbal communication.

This is a great team building activity for sports teams and businesses in addition to learning about the challenges visually impaired individuals have within their lifestyle.
